Character's Fears: Her biggest fear is honestly not being in control. She's a bossy control freak that spirals into anxiety and can lash out or do stupid things when she doesn't feel in control. Not having it scares the hell out of her. She also is afraid of being alone and not making a difference with her life. The Doctor dying is also something she's afraid of, and she goes to great lengths to ensure his survival at the cost of her own. She's also got some vain fears like letting herself go and being ugly or wearing clothes that she thinks are ugly. Her appearance means a lot to her, but it goes back to a control thing and controlling people's initial perception of her. Basically having any lack of control over anything ever is probably her biggest weakness and greatest fear.

Character's Hopes: Clara's greatest hope at her canon point is adventure. She's become dangerously reckless and doesn't really care about her own life. She craves action and adventure and to do as many thrilling things as possible. She's lived a full life on Earth. She graduated from university, got to be a nanny and a successful schoolteacher, and she's loved and lost someone. All Clara wants is the stars and adventure, and to not have anything get in the way of that. Beyond hoping for lots of adventure, she has a general hope that humans tend to get when they think they'll wind up alone: companionship. Not even in a romantic sense, she just wants someone to share adventures with. Also I guess in terms of the game she hopes to see mermaids and boss around a ship full of men so she can call herself a pirate. She'll also hope to get two tattoos because why choose just one?
